Sanrio characters are everywhere. As soon as it's 10 minutes before closing, they herd you out like sheep. There are tons of registers, but only two lines, so it looks like there are a lot of people waiting. However, the lines move pretty quickly. The first floor is almost entirely just registers.

I visited Olive Young in Myeongdong during my trip to Seoul and really enjoyed the experience. The store was lively and busy, but still enjoyable.

It was during a sale, so I feel like I got it for a pretty good price. They were selling limited-edition Hello Kitty collaboration snacks, and when I tried a sample, it was so delicious that I ended up buying two. I don't think I can buy them in Japan, so I wish I had bought more.
