Today's lunch menu included fish cake radish soup, cucumber seaweed salad, and the super appetizing tteok-galbi. Just as I picked up my soup bowl and turned to find a seat, the kitchen auntie suddenly reached out and added a few more pieces of fish cake to my soup. I was so lucky, I really love fish cakes! Thank you, auntie!

It seems like the rainy season in Korea is starting this week. On my way to the restaurant this morning, I could already feel the humidity and the muggy weather. Today's radish and fish cake soup was definitely the highlight; because it was simmered for a long time with plenty of radish, onions, and kelp, the broth was incredibly fresh and sweet. I was feeling really sleepy, but after drinking it, I feel much more refreshed!

Cafe Hans, hidden away near the Ewha dorms, is such a great value! The food prices are very affordable, making it a money-saving paradise for students. I especially recommend their ham and cheese sandwich; the unique sweet and salty flavor is so amazing, it's almost like eating a fancy dessert! Paired with a smooth, non-bitter iced coffee, it's the perfect combination. The staff are also super friendly, making me want to come back every single day!

lovely price, kind people, rly yummy sundubu jjigae and no surprise meat!! loved it. they were closed which i didnt know bcs the order screen was still on. but they kindly still made me my good and i enjoyed it a lot, esp as my first proper warm meal in Korea! will def come back, good reliable option. They also had other various dishes like udon and rice dishes and vegan curry!
