I was wandering around Hongdae when I was drawn to the vintage exterior of Mono Mansion. Once inside, I discovered it's a super stylish self-photo studio! For 5,000 won, you can get a full set of black-and-white film-style photos. It's completely different from the cute and quirky vibe of places like Photoism—this place focuses on mood. The lighting is set up like an art studio, and with just a solid-colored backdrop, the photos come out with a cinematic atmosphere. They play jazz music on loop, making the space quiet and relaxing, so you won't feel awkward at all. You can even touch up your makeup in front of the floor-length mirror after shooting. It's perfect for capturing your travel mood alone or taking sophisticated commemorative photos as a couple. Definitely a hidden gem in Hongdae!
