Myeongdong Kyoja

It's right in front of Myeong-dong Station, and since I travel solo often, Myeongdong Kyoja is great for dining alone and I'm grateful for such an easy lunch spot. The bibim guksu and kimchi are packed with garlic, so I always think I shouldn't eat them before meeting people, but I end up eating them every time. I recommend the kongguksu in the summer.

I visited Myeongdong Kyoja for my first meal after arriving in Seoul! There were many customers lined up at the front entrance, but I was quickly guided to the second floor and got a seat without waiting even a few minutes. When I visited before, I ordered and paid right at the table after sitting down, but this time I ordered and paid while waiting for a few minutes next to the register. I visited with two people and ordered one mandu and one kalguksu each.
