Donsubaek

I always come here whenever I visit Hongdae in Korea. I recommend avoiding weekends as the wait can be long, but since it's open 24 hours and the portions are just right, it's perfect for solo travelers. If you don't have a big appetite, you can just order the pork rice soup, which comes with simple side dishes. The set menu includes bossam (pork wraps), and everything is generally delicious. Plus, the service is fast, so you don't have to wait too long.

This was my first time having gukbap in Korea. It was very authentic and the food was delicious. There was even a staff member who spoke Chinese, and the service was great. I'd love to come back again.

The broth is very rich, and there's a lot of pork in the pork soup rice. Side dishes can be refilled.

Fast, cheap, and great for eating alone. The portions are generous and it was delicious.
